An on-premises iPaaS is a full integration platform deployed entirely within your own data centre with zero cloud dependency. IntelliPaaS On-Premises includes the design studio, runtime engine, connector library and monitoring dashboards – all running on your infrastructure. It is built for organisations with strict data sovereignty requirements, regulatory mandates or a preference for self-managed platform lifecycles where every update is applied on your schedule.
Full Integration Platform. Your Data Centre.
IntelliPaaS On-Premises runs the entire platform within your infrastructure. No cloud control plane, no external dependencies, no data leaving your network. You get the same connectors, visual builder and monitoring capabilities as the cloud version – deployed entirely on your terms.
Why On-Premises?
Complete Platform. Complete Control.
Some organisations cannot – or will not – send integration data through a third-party cloud. On-premises deployment gives you every platform capability with zero external dependency.
Key Capabilities:
- Full platform deployed within your data centre – design studio, runtime engine, monitoring, connector library
- Zero cloud dependency – the platform operates entirely within your network
- Complete data sovereignty – all data processing, storage and logging stays on your infrastructure
- Self-managed update cycles – you control when and how platform updates are applied
- Integration with on-premises identity providers (LDAP, Active Directory, SAML)
- Full audit trail and data lineage for compliance and accreditation
- Support for STDIO and HTTP-based MCP server integration
How On-Premises Deployment Works
IntelliPaaS On-Premises is packaged as a containerised application stack that deploys to your existing infrastructure – bare metal, VMware, Kubernetes or private cloud. The installation includes the design studio, runtime engine, connector framework, monitoring dashboards and the complete connector library.
Your team manages the infrastructure: compute, storage, networking and backup. IntelliPaaS provides the platform updates, connector releases and technical support. Updates are delivered as versioned packages that your team reviews and applies on your schedule – not ours.
The platform integrates with your existing identity provider for authentication and role-based access control. All logs, transaction records and audit trails are stored within your infrastructure and accessible through your existing SIEM or log aggregation tools.
On-Premises vs Hybrid vs Air-Gapped
These three deployment models are often confused. Here is how they differ:
| Aspect | On-Premises | Hybrid | Air-Gapped |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cloud Dependency | None – fully self-contained | Cloud control plane, on-prem runtime | None – fully isolated |
| Internet Required | Optional (for updates and support) | Yes (for control plane) | No – zero connectivity |
| Update Delivery | Versioned packages, applied on your schedule | Automatic via cloud | Offline media transfer |
| Best For | Data sovereignty, regulatory compliance | Mixed cloud/on-prem estates | Defence, classified networks, critical infrastructure |
When On-Premises is the Right Choice
- Regulatory or policy requirements prohibit cloud-based data processing
- You need complete control over the platform lifecycle – updates, patches, configuration
- Your integration workloads are entirely within your own data centre
- You require integration with on-premises identity and security infrastructure
- Internet connectivity exists but you choose not to depend on it for core business operations
Other Deployment Options
On-premises is one of four deployment models IntelliPaaS supports:
- Cloud iPaaS
– Fully managed, zero infrastructure, ideal for cloud-first organisations
- Hybrid Integration
– Cloud control plane with on-premises data processing
- Air-Gapped Integration
– Fully isolated deployment with zero internet connectivity

On-Premises Deployment in Action
On-premises deployments enable sovereign data integration, ERP-to-ERP consolidation, financial services compliance, healthcare records synchronisation and government service delivery – all within infrastructure you own and control. IntelliPaaS runs the entire platform within your data centre with zero external dependency.
| Use Case | Description |
|---|---|
| Sovereign Data Integration | Connect systems within a jurisdiction-controlled environment where data must not cross geographic or network boundaries |
| ERP-to-ERP Consolidation | Synchronise SAP, Oracle and other on-premises ERP systems across business units without routing data through external services |
| Financial Services Compliance | Integrate trading, risk and regulatory systems in environments where regulators require all data processing to occur on controlled infrastructure |
| Healthcare Records Integration | Connect clinical, administrative and billing systems while maintaining full compliance with data residency and privacy regulations |
| Government Service Delivery | Integrate citizen-facing and back-office systems within government-controlled infrastructure with full audit trail |
